Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) and the host Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA), saw Palm Desert's basketball squad hold off Westminster by a tally of 72-70.

With the victory, Palm Desert improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 25.
