The Shalhevet Firehawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Taft Toreadors to 44 in the Firehawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Firehawks now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Shalhevet will meet a Pumas team coming off a 84-24 non-league loss to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 2-4.

The Toreadors (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against La Canada (La Canada, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, La Canada was outscored by Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA), 62-55, in a non-league contest.
