Kentucky High School Basketball - Dixie Heights holds off Grant County
November 30, 2023: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) and the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), saw Dixie Heights's basketball squad hold off Grant County by a tally of 61-58.
With the victory, Dixie Heights improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Colonels host Mercy (Louisville, KY) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Mercy lost 70-50 in their recent non-league challenge against DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Braves confront the Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Grant County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 59-51 non-league loss to Wayne County (Monticello, KY).
