In Friday's non-league outing, the Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) basketball squad beat the visiting Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV), by a margin of 67-50.

The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Moorefield (Moorefield, WV). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Moorefield defeated Pendleton County (Franklin, WV), 50-36, in a league outing.
