The Coppell Cowboys basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Plano Wildcats to 47 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Friday.

The Cowboys now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hebron for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 3.

The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks enter the non-league match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Hebron nudged Trinity Christian (Addison, TX), 57-46, in a non-league match.
