Kentucky High School Basketball - Bullitt East nips Bowling Green
December 20, 2023: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY), 43-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bullitt East upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Cooper (Union, KY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Cooper won 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against McCracken County (Paducah, KY)
Next up, the Purples play the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Bowling Green will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Cooper (Union, KY).
