The Auburn Knights basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Morton Mustangs to 65 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. Auburn will meet a Trevians team coming off a 69-63 non-league win over Westinghouse (Chicago, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 9-3.

The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles enter the West Suburban - Gold contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Leyden nudged Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 67-53, in a league contest.
