California High School Basketball - Serrano topples Barstow

In Friday's non-league outing, the Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA), by a margin of 61-44.

The Diamondbacks (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Scorpions come into the Mojave River bout with a 8-7 record. In their last bout, Hesperia toppled Skyridge (Lehi, UT), 57-36, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Aztecs play the Adelanto Saints (Adelanto, CA) in a Desert Sky bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Barstow will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA).
