New York High School Basketball - Scarsdale can't hold off Fairfax
December 29, 2023: Scarsdale, NY 10583 The Fairfax Lions basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Scarsdale Raiders to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jordan for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Fairfax will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-65 non-league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY). The Huguenots enter the Section 1 Conference 1B contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, New Rochelle nudged Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY), 63-49, in a non-league contest.
