In Friday's non-league outing, the McClymonds Warriors (Oakland, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA), by a margin of 43-40.

The Warriors (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave go into the non-league outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Churchill County was tipped by Kennedy (Fremont, CA), 71-65, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 2. Las Lomas will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 71-69 non-league loss to Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA). The Lions record now stands at 9-2.
