California High School Basketball - Riverbank holds off McNair
December 29, 2023: Stockton, CA 95210 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) and the host McNair Eagles (Stockton, CA), saw Riverbank's basketball squad hold off McNair by a tally of 58-54.
With the victory, Riverbank improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a Trans Valley League challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Hilmar won 56-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Le Grand (Le Grand, CA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Linden Lions (Linden, CA) in a San Joaquin Athletic Association challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. McNair will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 67-47 non-league loss to Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA).
