December 29, 2023: San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) and the host Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA), saw Mountain View's basketball squad overcome Mission College Prep by a tally of 57-47.
With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Toros travel to Capital Christian (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Capital Christian won 86-80 in their recent non-league challenge against Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ)
Next up, the Royals confront the Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Mission College Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Houston Christian (Houston, TX).
