California High School Basketball - Franklin nips Hollywood
December 4, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90028 Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hollywood Sheiks (Los Angeles, CA), 49-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-1. South Pasadena won 66-54 in their recent non-league bout against Muir (Pasadena, CA)
Next up, the Sheiks play the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Central bout, on Thursday, December 7. Hollywood will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 66-24 league loss to Bernstein (Hollywood, CA).
