Kentucky High School Basketball - Bowling Green crushes Elizabethtown
December 6, 2016: Bowling Green, KY 42104 Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elizabethtown Panthers (Elizabethtown, KY), 97-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bowling Green upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Purples travel to Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Hopkinsville won 95-37 in their recent league bout against Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) in a District 17 bout, on Friday, December 9. Elizabethtown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 57-55 non-league win over Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).
