The Bowling Green Purples basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Glasgow Scotties to 49 in the Purples non-league triumph on Friday.

The Purples now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metcalfe County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Bowling Green will meet a Hornets team coming off a 66-42 league win over Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.

The Scotties (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Franklin-Simpson nudged South Warren (Bowling Green, KY), 71-30, in a non-league contest.
