Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) and the visiting Danville Admirals (Danville, KY), saw Somerset's basketball squad knock off Danville by a count of 65-57.

With the victory, Somerset upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Briar Jumpers travel to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to play the Rockets in a District 47 challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Rockcastle County lost 70-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY)
