February 2, 2019: Mt. Vernon, KY 40456 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) and the host Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), saw Danville's basketball squad overcome Rockcastle County by a tally of 82-69.
With the victory, Danville improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Admirals host Berea (Berea, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 5. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Berea won 61-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY)
Next up, the Rockets play the Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 4. Rockcastle County will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 67-61 non-league win over Campbell County (Alexandria, KY).
