The Evergreen Christian Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Virginia Academy Patriots to 47 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 23-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Evergreen Christian will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Clinton Grace (Clinton, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 29-8.

The Patriots (5-24) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 21-11 record. In their last contest, Highland ran past Clinton Grace (Clinton, MD), 62-51, in a league contest.
