In Saturday's non-league match, the host Wheeling Park Patriots basketball team scored a good 58-45 triumph over the South Charleston Black Eagles.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 4. Wheeling Park will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Big Reds enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 77-67 non-league win over Logan (Logan, WV).
