In Thursday's league test, the host Hoover Huskies lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Huntington Highlanders.

The Huskies now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a WVSLA test on Tuesday, March 24.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Fairmont Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a WVSLA test, on Sunday, March 22. Huntington will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
