Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA) and the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), saw Bella Vista's basketball squad hold off Oakmont by a tally of 32-29.
With the victory, Bella Vista improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Broncos host Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to play the Knights in a Capital Valley Conference challenge on Friday, January 24. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Rio Linda won 58-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Galileo (San Francisco, CA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference challenge, on Friday, January 24. Oakmont will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 69-23 league loss to Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA).
