Bristol Bay Angels (Naknek, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Koliganek Huskies (Koliganek, AK), 40-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Bristol Bay upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Tanalian Lynx (Port Alsworth, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Koliganek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Lynx go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 46-37 league loss to King Cove (King Cove, AK).
