    The Middlesboro Yellowjackets thwarted the visiting Knox Central Panthers football team by a count of 57-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

    With the win, Middlesboro upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY) to encounter the Wildcats in a 1A District 7 outing on Friday, November 3. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 3-8. Lynn Camp lost 37-14 in their recent non-league outing against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY)

    With the loss, Knox Central moves to 5-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to encounter the Smoky Bears in a non-league outing on Friday, November 3. The Smoky Bears go into the outing with a record of 9-1. Sevier County won 56-21 in their recent league outing against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN)
