The Northeast Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Daviess County Panthers to 39 in the Eagles non-league victory on Sunday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ballard Memorial for a non-league contest on Monday, December 22. Northeast will meet a Bombers team coming off a 45-37 non-league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Bombers record now stands at 6-2.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles come into the District 9 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Apollo was routed by Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY), 45-37, in a non-league contest.
