Softball Recap: Delta Huskies vs. Lathrop Malemutes
Delta won against Lathrop on Friday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Delta Huskies had just enough and edged the Lathrop Malemutes out 7-6. That's two games straight that Delta has won by just one run.
Emily Ce Ce Folliard was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Lilly Koba, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Delta pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lathrop, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Delta will face off against Palmer at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Lathrop, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Homer at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday.
