Teams from 10 different states make up the top 10 spots in this week's edition.

The streak continues for Mercy (Louisville, Ky.), as it remains atop the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings for the fifth-straight week.

The Jaguars have recorded 27 shutouts this season. The only teams to win a set against Mercy this season are Mother McAuley (2-1) and Assumption – 2-1 in an early season loss and Oct. 9 in a 3-1 match.

Mercy has won 73 of its 75 matches, with both of those losses coming in 2013 against crosstown rival Assumption.

This season, the Jaguars have bested Assumption three times and the two Kentucky powers are projected – or expected – to meet again in November during the state tournament.

St. Ursula (Toledo, Ohio) remained No. 2 as it finished the regular season 22-0. The Arrows haven't lost a set in more than a month.

Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, Calif.) remained at No. 3, but the rest of the Top 10 looks different than a week ago with Lewis-Palmer (Monument, Colo.) at No. 4, Brentwood (Tenn.) is riding a 53-match winning streak at No. 5 and Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.) is unbeaten and ranked No. 6.

Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) lost its first set of the season, but won the Clearwater Invitational. Jesuit is 23-0 and ranked No. 7, and followed by unbeatens Bettendorf (Iowa) and Parkland (Allentown, Pa.) with 36-2-1 Carroll (Southlake, Texas) rounding out the Top 10.

New to the Top 25 this week are Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.), Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, Fla.) and P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, Fla.). Kenny and P. K. Yonge were both ranked earlier in the season and Heart has won 54 straight matches and 69 of its last 71.
