Recap: Rutgers Prep Argonauts vs. Hillsborough Raiders

The Rutgers Prep Argonauts entered their tilt with the Hillsborough Raiders with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Rutgers Prep walked away with a 63-53 win over Hillsborough on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Rutgers Prep, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Hillsborough's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Harrison, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season. Jayden Green was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Rutgers Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Hillsborough, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rutgers Prep will challenge St. Peter's Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Hillsborough, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
