Recap: Bradshaw Christian The Pride vs. Galt Warriors
The Bradshaw Christian The Pride's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 46-18 loss at the hands of Galt. Bradshaw Christian has not had much luck with Galt recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Galt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Akayla-Joy Gunter, who scored 17 points. Bricelina Cortez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Bradshaw Christian's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.1 points per game. As for Galt, their win bumped their record up to 2-15.
Bradshaw Christian will head out on the road to face off against Liberty Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Liberty Ranch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Galt, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m.
