Recap: Silas Rams vs. Mount Tahoma T-Birds
This season hasn't been kind to The Silas Rams, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They were beaten by Mount Tahoma 54-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Silas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Mount Tahoma is ranked 35th).
Silas' loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 5.2 points per game. As for Mount Tahoma, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Silas will head out on the road to face off against Bonney Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Tahoma, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lakes at 7:00 p.m. Lakes is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
