They never let the Willow Glen Rams onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Capital Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.
Ayla Tuua made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Tuua has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Tuua was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Bree Johnson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Capital Christian pushed their record up to 26-3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Willow Glen, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.
