Union Catholic has no trouble against Medford Tech

The Union Catholic Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 82-60 margin over Medford Tech. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Union Catholic with their most commanding win of the season.
Despite the loss, Medford Tech still got an impressive performance from Nesta Rice, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Powell, who scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals.
Union Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Medford Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-6.
Union Catholic will head out on the road to square off against West Caldwell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Medford Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Burlington Township at 5:30 p.m. Medford Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Burlington Township likes a good challenge.
