Bowling Green skates past Fairdale with ease

Recap: Bowling Green Purples vs. Fairdale Bulldogs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bowling Green Purples had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 51-14 victory over Fairdale. Considering Bowling Green has won eight games by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bowling Green can attribute much of their success to Deuce Bailey, who threw for 97 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
The victory (which was Bowling Green's third in a row) raised their record to 10-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42.33 points. As for Fairdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Bowling Green has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Owensboro at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Owensboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Bowling Green likes a good challenge. Fairdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
