SAN JOSE — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle early Thursday in the city’s Little Saigon neighborhood, police said.

The collision was reported at 5:22 a.m. near Story Road and Roberts Avenue, according to a social-media post from San Jose police.

The injured woman was taken to a hospital with what were deemed life-threatening injuries, but police later said she had been stabilized and was expected to survive.

Morning traffic in the area was impacted for about four hours around the collision site while police investigate the scene, including a blockage of eastbound Story Road between Roberts and Lucretia avenues.
