Kym has been spending a lot of time with her family recently, having married her army major husband Scott Ratcliff in October of 2021.

The star has also been making time for her kids.

In a recent Instagram post, she gushed over her daughter Polly, 10, saying she is her best friend.

She posted a black and white photo to the social media site, where she was captured with her arm around her youngest daughter.

Kym shares Polly with ex and fellow soap star Jamie Lomas.

The former couple also shared Archie, who was born in 2009, but he tragically died minutes after his birth.

Kym had a short-lived music career in pop group Hear'Say.

She then joined Coronation Street, playing Michelle Connor for 13 years.

Speaking of the possibility of returning to the soap, Kym said: “Yeah, possibly.

"I love Coronation Street - it’s where I started and it gave me the biggest part of my career.

“I had wonderful times there, I made wonderful friends and I loved the character of Michelle, so I have no doubt I’ll go back at some point - as long as they don’t kill me off off-screen.”

Her acting career has truly taken off as she is currently appearing in a stage adaptation of Fatal Attraction, based on the 1987 movie starring Glenn Close.

The 45-year-old plays Alex Forrest, a dejected lover, and the role even sees her stripping off in racy scenes.

The star also recently filmed a new series of For Love Or Money, and was pictured leaving MediaCityUK earlier this week.
