Kyle Walker and Lauryn Goodman have arrived in court ready to battle it out for a second following yesterday's dramatic showdown.
The former lovers are currently in a legal war regarding the kids they share together following an extra-marital affair. Their first day in court saw Kyle flash his wedding ring as Lauryn "adopted the stance of a pantomime cow", according to one body language expert, in a bid to avoid photographers.
The Manchester City player, who is married to childhood sweetheart Annie Kilner, has two kids with Lauryn; son Kairo Walker, four, and a baby daughter known as K.W who was born in August last year.
They're currently embroiled in a fierce dispute at the High Court. Fresh from his return from Germany after England's crushing loss to Spain in the Euros final on Sunday night, Kyle was spotted in a sharp dark suit and crisp white shirt entering the courtroom.
Kyle once again had his gold wedding band on his ring finger, amid speculation long-suffering wife Annie is willing to give their marriage one final go following his cheating scandals. While Lauryn did her best to hide her face as she arrived at court yesterday, the mum-of-two was all smiles as she entered the building today.
The Celebs Go Dating star paid tribute to her kids with a K.W necklace round her neck, as she walked in with some dark shades on and her long hair tied back. Donning a pair of white trousers and a low-cut black top, Lauryn appeared to be a lot more confident in comparison to yesterday's chaotic arrival.
Analysing Kyle's confident entrance yesterday, compared to Lauryn's camera shy antics, body language expert Judi James told the Mirror: "Two completely different body language displays from Kyle and Lauryn here as they head into court, with Kyle sending out signals of confident visibility while Lauren appeared to adopt the pose of an actor playing back end of a panto cow as she hunched out of sight behind her lawyer."
She added: "Walker pulled at his shirt cuffs as though prepping for battle, then his hands touched at his jacket lapels to splay his elbows out in a cocky-looking ritual of confidence. The gesture to the cameras also seemed to make his wedding ring very visible to perhaps hint where his loyalty or priorities lie."
When Lauryn first announced her second pregnancy and the subsequent birth of her daughter, she claimed another unnamed footballer was the father. However, it later emerged that Kyle is the father of both of her children. Lauryn revealing the paternity of her daughter to Kyle's wife Annie reportedly led to Annie ending their relationship over the festive period. Annie publicly announced her split from Kyle in January.
Days after Annie's statement announcing she was taking some "time away" from their marriage, Kyle spoke out about how he ended up fathering a second child with Lauryn. The father-of-six reminisced about affirming that he would not have any interactions with Lauryn apart from financial agreements related to their child.
However, by August 2022, Lauryn had reportedly disclosed her intentions to move 245 miles northwards from Brighton, closer to Kyle's family home. In January, following Annie announcing their split, Kyle disclosed how he met Lauryn at a law firm in an attempt to dissuade her from relocating. During this encounter, he first met his son Kairo, which subsequently encouraged him to resume contact with Lauryn secretly, behind his wife's back.
In October 2022, Kyle ventured to London for a groin operation and managed to meet Lauryn during his stay. Reflecting on his rendezvous with Lauryn and the subsequent act of infidelity against Annie, Kyle confessed to The Sun: "It wasn't intentional or premeditated but I slept with her. A lot was going on. It's not an excuse. I'd ruptured my groin, I had a World Cup to get fighting fit for."

Months later, Kyle was hit with the shocking revelation that Lauryn was expecting once more. He recalled his mistress breaking the news to him : "Lauryn told me at the end of October, early November. I remember going upstairs at the training ground when I got a phone call from her. I was with the physio at the time. I nearly fainted. I was just white. He said to me, 'What's the matter? ', and I wouldn't tell him because I needed to process it myself. I asked if we could scrap the session and he just said, 'Fine'. I went into survival mode. I was like, 'What can I do now every day to make sure that I go home to Annie and the boys?'"
In January, Annie revealed her separation from Kyle on Instagram, telling her followers: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle."
Annie, who first crossed paths with Kyle in their hometown of Sheffield when she was just 15 and he was 17, concluded her online post by stating: "I do not wish to comment on the situation any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."
A few days later, Kyle took to his Instagram Stories to write: "Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I've caused her. She's been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children. I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times."
It was later revealed that Annie was actually pregnant with her fourth child and she gave birth to another son in April. The mum-of-four travelled over to Germany for the Euros to cheer Kyle on as he represented England, with the tournament reportedly allowing Annie to consider giving her marriage another shot.
"Annie is in a good place right now. She was dreading the Euros, but she got caught up with the excitement of it all," a source says to Heat magazine. "Despite everything that has happened, she loves watching Kyle play and seeing her kids faces when they see him on the pitch. It also helped that the other WAGs have taken her under their wings, reminding her they have her back, and doings o much to make her feel happy and relaxed."
The source goes on to allege Annie is "willing to give things with Kyle one final try" and hopes the pair can enjoy a fresh start. The insider goes on to tell Heat magazine how Annie was angry at Kyle for "a long, long time and part of her will still never forgive her" but she also sees her estranged husband as an amazing dad and recalls how "great things can be".
Despite Annie's recent decision to give their relationship another shot, Kyle shouldn't get too comfortable at home just yet. According to the insider, Annie has set some ground rules and non-negotiables for her husband and has made it clear that if Kyle ever cheats again, "she'd never forgive him". However, if the sports star can prove he's changed, Annie "feels it could be worth trying for" - for her own sake and for their kids - but the ball is in Kyle's court to prove himself.
