Ellie Bamber is dressed to impress as she is seen playing Kate Moss for the first time - recreating her glamorous 30th birthday look.
The actress was seen arriving on set in London, to shoot scenes depicting Kate's milestone 2004 birthday party at Claridge's for new biopic 'Moss & Freud'.
The film is a dramatised account of when supermodel Kate Moss made the decision to sit for famed British artist Lucian Freud in a decision that deeply impacted and transformed both of their lives.
Two-time Emmy Award winner and BAFTA Award nominee Derek Jacobi will star as Lucian Freud. In scenes being filmed this week, Ellie looked the part as her midnight blue vintage sequined gown was near-identical to the one worn by Kate to her party in January 2004.
And blonde-haired Ellie was even accompanied by Kate's real life hairdresser and longtime pal James Brown for the scenes. The theme for Moss's 30th birthday party was The Beautiful And Damned and it was famed as one of London's most decadent parties.
Actors dressed as drag queens were seen arriving on set for the film's recreation. Supermodel Kate gave the film her seal of approval back in 2022 and has been involved with the development, alongside director James Lucas.
She said of the plan: "Sitting for Lucian was an honour and incredible experience. After watching The Phone Call, I knew that James [Lucas] would convey the emotion in the storytelling in a fitting way, one this memoir deserves. Having been involved in the project and script development from the beginning, I am now very excited to see the film come to life."
