Margot Robbie previously revealed her family plans and how she possibly wants four children.
The Barbie actress previously said that she wanted a big family but doesn't want her career to get in the way of that. This comes as the 34-year-old is reportedly pregnant with her first child with her husband Tom Ackerley.
However, it seems that Margot always knew that she wanted a family as she mentioned planning a large brood in an interview back in 2016. The Wolf of Wall Street star said that she grew up as one of four children so she is planning on doing something similar to her parents.
Speaking the Daily Telegraph eight years ago, Margot said: "I want tons of children! Well, maybe not too many. I grew up in a family of four [kids], so that sounds like a good number." Despite this, she was in no rush as she didn't want her further children to be affected by her successful career.
She added: "I know that once I have kids, they’ll be my priority, so I want to do the family thing later." It was recently reported that Margot is expecting her first baby thanks to the Australian actress being snapped with what looks like a pregnancy bum and several sources confirming the rumours to PEOPLE magazine.
Margot and her husband were pictured on holiday together in Lake Como, Italy this weekend ahead of their baby news breaking. Margot displayed her bump in a white crop top with a blazer draped over her shoulders. The pair were seen getting on a yacht as they enjoyed the stunning location. Margot and Tom first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française.
They went on to tie the knot in a secret ceremony in Australia's Byron Bay in December 2016 but it came as a surprise for some as the couple kept their engagement a secret. In an interview with Vogue back in 2016, Margot opened up about her relationship with Tom and the first time they met.
She said: "I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, 'Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'"
Tom recently spoke to The Sunday Times about how he and his wife balance both their personal and professional lives. The two have kept their marriage private. He said: "It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing."
