Princess Kate is still struggling to forgive her brother-in-law Prince Harry and has essentially 'pulled up the royal drawbridge', it has been claimed.

Since quitting the Royal Family three years ago, Meghan and Harry have made a series of allegations about their time in The Firm, including attacks on Kate and Prince William. It has been reportedly that Kate is normally the one who extends the olive branch to bring the royal brothers back together, but former royal butler Paul Burrell believes things have gone too far this time and the hurt is still "too raw".

Speaking to Mirror US, he explains: “So much has been said and people have been hurt. And I don't think they can be mended right now; it’s going to take time. It's still raw and the royals are not easy and forgiving. When something happens they pull the drawbridge up and you can't get in."

“The only person that has a faint chance of reconciliation with the boys will be Kate,” Burrell says. But he doesn’t believe that after all the mud-slinging Kate will want to welcome Harry and his wife back into the fold.

Harry and Meghan have claimed the Duchess of Sussex faced racism in the family when she was pregnant and that Palace staff failed to support her when she had suicidal thoughts. Things also turned personal when Harry claimed in his book that Kate made Meghan cry in the run-up to their wedding. He wrote he came home to find Meghan “on the floor” and “sobbing” after a row over bridesmaid dresses four days before their wedding. The palace refused to comment on the claims and there has been a frostiness in the air ever since.
