Kevin Costner seen being 'flirty' with a new woman on private island after bitter divorce

Kevin Costner is moving on after his bitter split from ex Christine Baumgartner, with the actor now looking cosy and "flirty" with American singing sensation Jewel.

Oscar-winning actor Kevin started divorce proceedings with Christine, his wife of almost 19 years, back in May. The couple recently settled their divorce. It was back in September that the couple signed off on a three-page settlement, with the judge reportedly informing Christine that their 18-year-old prenup would be enforced and if she did not agree she would have to pay over $1million plus attorney's fees to Kevin.

But all of that is now in the past, with Kevin now moving on with Utah-born Jewel Kilcher, 49, known professionally as Jewel. The blonde beauty is an American singer-songwriter who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

According to TMZ, and photos that they obtained, the couple were seen on Richard Branson's Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. The two rumoured lovebirds were said to be part of a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation, of which Jewel is the founder, and Kevin was a guest.

The pair are said to have flown to the Caribbean together, with them spending time together for more than a week. A source told the US outlet: "There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up."

Another source then said: "You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on."

Speaking to InTouch, another source spilled: "He really hit it off with Jewel," adding: "He’s enjoying being single again after 18 years of marriage, but she definitely caught his eye. He’s ready to move on with his life."

Jewel even took to social media to gush about the "incredible time" they had, noting that Kevin "was kind enough to mentor our kids this year". They even played doubles with Sir Richard, who "plays a mean game", according to Jewel

The singer, who is "picky" when it comes to men, split from her husband Ty Murray in 2014. TMZ also reported that "Kevin fits the bill" of a "good man" that she wants, as per a source.
