Kevin Costner's estranged wife Christine Baumgartner has reportedly been moving out of the family home, with her said to be relocating to another house somewhere nearby.

The actor, 68, and his estranged wife, 49 - who have been married since 2004 - are understood to be in the process of getting divorced. Their separation was announced back in May, after having been married for almost two decades.

There's said to have been a clause in an alleged prenup that required Christine to leave the family home in California within a certain number of days. There's reportedly been disagreements about when she should actually move out by.

It was claimed at the end of last week that Christine was moving out of the family home in Santa Barbara. She will allegedly temporarily stay at a smaller house somewhere nearby, while looking for another house in the same area.

PageSix reported on Friday that moving vans were spotted at the family home just days before the alleged deadline of when Christine was supposed to moved out by. The outlet noted that cardboard boxes were spotted at the property.

Photos obtained by the outlet, that were published last week, showed what appeared to be removal vans. The outlet speculated about the relocation, with it reporting that the vans headed to another property in the area.

A source however later told People magazine: "Christine is following the legal advice per the prenup and is vacating the family house. [She] will stay at a smaller house on the property that’s been used as a staff quarter."

The source described it as a "temporary solution," adding that she is still "looking for another house" and is "staying in the area to not disrupt the kids' lives." Kevin and Christine are parents to Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12.

It was stated by the source that the former couple's kids will return to school in the coming months with their friends and that Christine is trying to keep "everything as normal as possible." The source said the kids are her "sole focus."

Christine was reportedly ordered to move out of the family home by today (July 31) at a hearing earlier this month. A judge reportedly stated that she should leave by the end of the month, despite her allegedly wanting an extension.
