Supermarket chain Aldi is renowned not just for their delicious food, low prices, and iconic middle aisles, but also for offering one heck of a dupe. Offering cheaper alternatives to the likes of Rare Beauty, Dior, and YSL skincare, they also have beauty imitations taking inspiration from brands such as Ouai and The Ordinary as well as global superstar Rihanna's Fenty make-up line.

Well, now the retail giant has launched its very own take of the iconic boujee blush wine Whispering Angel. Anyone who has enjoyed an ice-cool glass of luxury rosé will know how much it screams summer – even Adele loves it.

In fact, Whispering Angel has become so popular it's been credited with the resurgence of the rosé wine category. And for those who don't want to fork out over £20 for vino, the market has been flooded with dupes but not all of them are great.

One dupe that is so good it's often completely sold out is Aldi's Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé, £6.49. Lucy Hitchcock of Partner in Wine UK on Instagram, checked out the wine and told fans: "If you're a fan of Whispering Angel you need to know about this dupe. The Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé."

She went on: "This has got summer beach days written all over it. Ample sunshine, cooling sea breezes, means lots of flavour, lots of freshness. Strawberry, cranberry, peach, and a touch of tropical fruit are balanced by a vibrant and zesty acidity."

People watching Lucy's review were in agreement with many lamenting the wine was always sold out, however it's currently in stock on the Aldi website. One user commented: "If you can ever find it and it's not sold out." And another person asked: "When will this be back in Aldi?" While someone else added: "Just had the last bottle in my local Aldi! Looking forward to trying it!"

If you weren't able to get your hands on the cheapest option, Aldi also has their Chassaux et Fils Sainte Victoire Provence Rosé, priced at £12.49, which has been reviewed extensively by wine aficionados across social media. Discussing the dupe, Lucy told followers: "Aldi, what is wrong with you? I mean, the absolute audacity. Aldi is really taking things to the next level with this dupe."

Commenting that the bottles look very similar, and both are labelled Côtes de Provence, she pointed out that they are both made from the same four grapes. She went on: "But this wine from Aldi is not only almost half the price, it's also from a very specific quality area of Côtes de Provence." After trying the blush, Lucy branded it "stunning" and it seems other people agree. One user replied: "Bought this in the supermarket today!"
