Stars including Ed Sheeran, Idris Elba, Florence Welch and Teri Hatcher have headed to London for the last dates of the European leg of Taylor Swift's iconic Eras Tour. But with just three dates left before the star heads back across the Atlantic, British Swifties have been desperately trying to snag last-minute tickets for what might just now officially be the live concert event of a generation.

Hundreds of thousands of fans every hour have been scouring resale sites this morning for their chance to see the Cruel Summer star's final shows, with resale site Viagogo reporting 423,680 fans searched for ticket availability in the last hour and Google Trends showing fans searching for information on last minute deals.

Swift's second stint at Wembley Stadium, following a three-night run in June, has already made headlines with surprise guests ranging from Ed Sheeran - who joined the star on stage during the surprise song set - and Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher, who reportedly swapped bracelets with fans in the crowd. Meanwhile, fans heard one long-awaited song for the first time on the tour and rumours are swirling that an announcement about Reputation (Taylor's Version) could be incoming over the next few nights too.

With just three more chances to join the fun, at shows tonight (Saturday), Monday and Tuesday before the European leg of the tour is finally wrapped up, fans are making the most of every last moment not just of Taylor and her regular support act Paramore, but also surprise guests and additional support artists including musicians Suki Waterhouse on Saturday, Maisie Peters on Monday and RAYE on Tuesday who will also be taking to the stage to warm up the crowd.

While this is thrilling news for those who've already snagged tickets, many die-hard Taylor Swift fans may find themselves missing out and there's been a flurry of searching this morning to bag a last minute bargain.

viagogo and resale tickets

Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

With that said, viagogo also commented: "viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee."

How to buy cheapest last-minute Taylor Swift tickets for the final dates of the Eras Tour now

The Taylor Swift resale market has exploded over the past few months as desperate fans have resorted to buying and selling tickets to the Eras Tour on second-hand websites.

Websites such as viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to track down their ideal tickets for the Eras Tour. This means you could grab tickets anywhere from front-standing to seats in the back row.

With just three dates left in the star's Wembley run, there are currently around 2,000 tickets available across all three nights, with prices starting from £341 for seated tickets. While this is more than lucky fans who were able to get seats from Ticketmaster at the point the shows first went on sale, this is significant lower than the £480 seated and £700 general admission prices resellers were asking for several weeks ago and seems to suggests Swifties happy to book at the last minute can save some money as resellers are concerned they end up without any money at all.
