In a rare public display of temper, Zara Tindall was once caught on camera in a heated exchange with a steward at the Cheltenham Festival. The then 31 year old, who is still a regular attendee at the annual event, was seen in deep conversation as the steward held back the crowds.

The stylish royal, now a mother of three, was snapped wearing a chic purple pillbox hat and cream coat. As she pointed her finger at the man, her husband Mike Tindall seemed to find his wife's antics amusing.

After the argument, Zara was allowed through, which quickly improved her mood. The royal, who is Princess Anne's only daughter, was later seen laughing and chatting with jockey Tony McCoy's wife, Chanelle.

Fast forward to this year, and it seems that Zara and Mike are likely to turn down an invitation to spend the summer at Balmoral with the King and Queen. The couple, who have three children - Mia, 10, Lena, six, and Lucas, three - are expected to miss the summer holiday due to Zara's potential participation in the Wellington International Horse Trails.

The event is scheduled to take place in Hampshire from August 24 to 26. Zara, now 42 and known for her successful equestrian career, previously won silver at the London 2012 Olympic Games, with her mother, Princess Anne, presenting her with the award, reports the Express.

Given the King's close relationship with his niece, the 75-year-old is reportedly considering moving the holiday forward by a week to accommodate Zara, Mike and their children.

A source recently revealed: "Charles really wants Zara and the family to join him on the last Sunday in August for the bank holiday service, but understands that her horse competitions are extremely important to her."

"Charles is hoping that they [the Tindall's] will be able to come up the week earlier to muck in with the rest of the family so that everyone can enjoy the picnics and walks planned on the estate."

It's also reported that Mia, Lena and Lucas get along splendidly with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six - the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
