Whether your hair is thin, thick, wavy, curly or straight, frizz can be a bit of a nuisance - especially in the summer. And finding a one-size-fits-all fix can seem like an endless mission.

You might find yourself months down the line having splashed out on a plethora of products that fail to tame your mane. But luckily, there's a simple item you likely have at home that could be the answer.

On ITV's This Morning, beauty guru Sarah Jossel revealed her nifty trick for banishing frizz - good old kitchen foil. She advised viewers to wrap their hair in foil and gently pull it through the lengths, the Daily Record reports.

She exclaimed: "This, it completely takes out the frizz", with Alison Hammond responding: "How weird is that?"

Explaining the method, Jossel explained: "The metal charges take the static out your hair. So it's short-term and its quick, but it totally removes any fussy frizz."

The clip has gone viral since being posted earlier in the week, racking up over 2.8 million views, 57k likes, and sparking hundreds of comments and thousands of shares. One TikTok user commented: "I am doing that tomorrow morning lol."

Another shared: "Why does the thought of this make my teeth feel funny lol."

Someone else added: "Thank you for this! ! ! My hair goes frizzy when its humid outside". And another suggested: "Dryer sheets work better."
