Frankie Dettori has revealed plans for horse racing stars Enable and Stradivarius ahead of the sport's resumption.

Just days away from the planned restart on Monday, the fans' favourite spoke about his hopes for the John Gosden-trained pair.

Stradivarius has won a £1million bonus for the past two years after taking four of the main staying races, while Enable went unbeaten in 12 starts.

Both horses are set to encounter familiar territory this term, but Stradivarius might step back in trip for next week's Coronation Cup at Newmarket.

“There’s a possibility that Stradivarius will run in the Coronation Cup on the Friday," Dettori said in his Sporting Index blog.

“Strad is full of himself, he thinks he’s a stallion and is looking really well.

“His main target is obviously the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, but John felt that a prep race before then would do him plenty of good.”

Stradivarius has won the last two renewals of the Ascot Gold Cup, which is the big aim once again.

Enable has the same number of Prix de l’Arc de Triomphes on her CV, but he encountered a shock defeat when going for the ParisLongchamp hat-trick.

The six-year-old mare is being lined up to secure back-to-back renewals of the Coral Eclipse on July 5.

"I’ve been going to John’s four times a week, so I’ve obviously seen a lot of Enable," Dettori said.

"I’ve not sat on her yet, but I’ll go and see her and give her a few apples, polos or whatever she fancies.

"From head to toe she looks as good as she did last season, she’s bouncing around and walking about the yard like she owns the place.

"We’ve still got some time to go before she starts racing but I’d say it’s a similar plan to last year, starting with the Eclipse at Sandown and then everything working backwards from a tilt at winning a third Arc.

"I’m so happy that Prince Khalid Abdullah has kept her in training and given her one more chance to fulfil this dream."

In the Qipco 1,000 Guineas on Sunday week, Dettori is keen to team up with Raffle Prize again, a filly he won on at Royal Ascot last year.
