Another month, another clear-out on Netflix - so if you want to see any of the following titles, you'd better be quick!

Time is fast running out to catch some colossal 2000s comedy films, including The Devil Wears Prada, The Guilt Trip and Easy A.

The enormously popular Devil Wears Prada, from 2006, is based on the novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger. The story revolves around Andrea "Andy" Sachs (played by Anne Hathaway), a recent journalism graduate who, despite her lack of fashion knowledge, lands a job as the second assistant to Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep), the powerful and fearsome editor-in-chief of Runway magazine.

Andy initially struggles to adapt to the high-stakes world of fashion, facing constant criticism and impossible demands from Miranda and her colleagues, including senior assistant Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) and suave art director Nigel (Stanley Tucci). As she becomes more immersed in her work, Andy's fashion sense and professional abilities evolve, impressing Miranda and securing her place at the magazine.

However, the job begins to take a toll on Andy's personal life, straining her relationships with her boyfriend Nate (Adrian Grenier) and best friend Lily (Tracie Thoms). As Andy becomes increasingly involved in the superficial world of fashion, she must decide whether the career she thought she wanted is worth the compromises she's making.

Another film you need to see before it flees the platform is The Guilt Trip (2012) starring Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen. The movie follows Andy Brewster (Rogen), an inventor and struggling entrepreneur who embarks on a cross-country road trip to promote his new organic cleaning product. As an unexpected twist, he decides to invite his overbearing mother, Joyce (Streisand), along for the journey after learning about a long-lost love from her past.

The film delves into the comedic and emotional dynamics between Andy and Joyce as they navigate the trials of their relationship, each other's quirks, and the challenges of their trip.

Also departing Netflix in August is 2010 American teen romantic comedy film Easy A, starring Emma Stone. The movie is a modern take on Nathaniel Hawthorne's classic novel The Scarlet Letter, set in a high school context.

The story revolves around Olive Penderghast (Stone), a high school student whose life changes dramatically after a small lie about losing her virginity spreads throughout her school. Olive, previously an unnoticed and relatively quiet student, suddenly finds herself at the centre of attention. Embracing her newfound notoriety, she decides to exploit it by pretending to have scandalous relationships with several boys, helping them improve their reputations while gaining social status.

However, Olive's decision to play the part of the school's 'bad girl' has unforeseen consequences. She faces backlash from peers, teachers, and parents, and becomes the subject of scrutiny and gossip. As the situation spirals out of control, Olive must navigate the complications of her fabricated persona and confront the realities of her choices. Along the way, she learns about the power of rumours, the importance of honesty, and the complexities of personal identity.

If all this hasn't yet got you reaching for the remote in frantic delight, here's a full list of what's leaving Netflix this August.
