Before starting Missingwealth, Riyaz had 15 years of experience solving complex business problems at companies like Amazon, TELUS, and Texas Instruments. Riyaz is an active member of the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization (UPPO) which is the pre-eminent organization for unclaimed property professionals. Riyaz serves as a committee co-chair and was a speaker at the 2023 and 2024 UPPO Annual Conference.
Robert Chan
Co-founder and CTO
Robert has been an engineering leader for close to two decades. He earned his Bachelor of Software Engineer at the University of Waterloo and pursued his interest in Machine Learning at Stanford University. He has a wide range of industry experience from developing software in small startups and medium corporations to leading an engineering team at Amazon. Robert is a big believer of servant leadership. His passion is to grow others to realize their full potential while building products together that customers love.

Paul brings a wide range of experience in unclaimed property, regulatory reporting, insurance and benefits. His cumulative oversight for unclaimed property exceeds $1 billion. He was a sought-after speaker and consultant during the heyday of "Verus" audits. His true passion, however, is what brought him to Missingwealth: transforming aging payables into income events. He is focused on benefiting Missingwealth clients through Aggressive Remediation to minimize escheat and maximize income.
