Wizened leader is boys Metro Player of the Year

Tanay Panguluri served as a senior captain on a Wayzata state champion loaded with youngsters, and he also was half of the winning doubles pair.


Wayzata’s Tanay Panguluri was a doubles champion and a team champion this spring, and now he's the Star Tribune's Metro Player of the Year in boys tennis. (Renée Jones Schneider, Star Tribune)

Tanay Panguluri will attend Indiana University and perhaps play club tennis, he said.
