Apple seems to be working with its design team to make its upcoming devices like the iPhone 17, MacBook Pro, and Apple Watch X a lot slimmer. If the latest reports become true, we will have some of the sleekest Apple devices by around 2025. Let’s take a more detailed look.

Apple’s Upcoming Design Approach

In his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that the recently released iPad Pro, which is the sleekest Apple product ever, is the beginning of a new class of Apple devices, and going forward, the company has plans to introduce thinnest and lightest products in their categories.

Gurman confirms The Information’s report that the iPhone 17 will feature a new, much thinner design. Apple is also said to be working on slimmer versions of the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch and the tech giant is likely targeting the iPhone 17 lineup for 2025.

It will be interesting to see how the Cupertino-based giant trims down the MacBook Pro, which became thicker and heavier with its 2021 redesign. The new design reintroduced MagSafe, HDMI, and an SD card slot to the Pro series laptops. We shall see how Apple makes the Pro model sleeker while retaining all these ports.

The company has not officially revealed any details or availability. However, the latest iPad Pro, powered by the M4 chip and Apple’s focus on a sleek design, suggests that Tim Cook is planning something significant on the design front.

One thing to note is that these are still rumours and we don’t have anything concrete for now, and hence, take these details with a grain of salt. We will update you once there are more details, so, stay tuned.
