April was quite happening in terms of smartphone launches in India. The Indian smartphone market witnessed around 20 launches including new smartphones and new variants of existing phones being launched. OnePlus, Motorola, vivo, Samsung, and Xiaomi introduced new offerings last month. One of the benefits of regularly doing MSP Tech Insights is to get a glimpse into customer behaviour and how it’s changing month-on-month.
This time, we can observe that there’s a recency bias in customer search trends with newly-launched smartphones taking up top positions and smartphones launched in 2023 have slipped from the popularity charts, unlike MSP Tech Insights March 2024. This is also reflected in the fact that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G didn’t make it to the list for the first time since its launch in April 2023 and the newly launched OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G has topped the list.
Interesting right? So, without any further delay, let’s find out which smartphones were the most popular in India in April 2024.
Most Popular Mobiles in April 2024
As usual, remember that these smartphones are ranked based on their search volume on MySmartPrice. The most searched mobile in India might not necessarily mean the best-selling smartphone.
